Her name is June, she had babies.

Please read her bio...she has not shown any aggression, just fear.  Her babies have all found loving homes...doesn't June deserve the same chance?

If ever a dog needed rescue, it's June.  This sad little dog has a very sad story...and now it could end at the shelter, alone and unloved.

If only we had the time and the resources...how often do all of us say this?  June was brought into the shelter right around the holiday season, along with another adult female, and 14 puppies...clearly the offspring of the 2 females and who knows how many males.

The puppies were quick to become socialized, and so was the other mom...all found rescue within a couple of weeks.  June, sadly, was left behind.  Too scared, too unsocialized, too much of a risk.

The shelter has been working with her, but they cannot keep her any longer.  They have asked us to help and see if we can find any rescue, anywhere, willing to work with June, and teach her that life with humans can be kind.

We will pull and arrange transport...we just need someone, somewhere to commit to this girl.  Please, contact me now.

When we met "June" our hearts broke....into pieces.  This is a soul who
has given up....who is shut down.....who is awaiting her fate of euthanization.
It is painfully obvious that "June" has likely had a very bad life.  It is obvious
that her body has produced litter after litter of puppies.  It is obvious that she
has had very little, IF ANY, love in her life.  It is obvious that she has given
up on ever having that....ever.  It is obvious that "June" has never, ever been
inside of a "home-like" environment.  Once she entered into the bonding
room....she completely shut down.  She laid down on the slippery floor and
wouldn't move...she had no idea what was going on.  When we took her
outside, she stood up and walked right beside of the kennel staff.  The grass....
she knew...and was comfortable.  However, she stayed very close to the kennel
staff and didn't want to make eye contact with the camera....and we didn't push
her.  "June" has never....ever....shown fear aggression.  She has never growled.
All she needs is a reason to trust....that's all.  All she needs is a second chance
at life and love.  All she needs is a receiving rescue to pull her and put her into
a loving and experienced foster home.  Sadly, she is scheduled to be euthanized
on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5TH.  PLEASE HURRY!
