Upon starting the jewelry business many years ago a stockpile of freshwater pearls and sea cultured pearls were amassed. The supply of Akoyas were a buyer's delight, but alias the last time I went to their pixel by pixel marketplace on the world wide web the prices have drastically climbed to the point of unbelievability.
